Homemade Crayons

The Question???

What to do with ALL those little broken crayon pieces??

Make your own rainbow Crayons!!

1.  Preheat the oven to 250

2.   Take off the paper of all the broken crayons.

3.  Break any larger crayons to smaller bits--1/2 to 1 inch.

4.  These days we use the silicone cupcake holders set on a cookie cheet.  You can use your muffin tins with paper liners or oil them real well!!

5.  Have your child put the pieces in each cupcake holder/paper and keep it at 1/2 to 3/4 full.

6.  Put them in the oven and allow them to melt completely --all liquid. This is approximately 10-20 minutes depending on type of crayon and size.

7.  Remove from oven and let cool.

8.  Once they have cooled then pop them out and start using them instantly or give as gift topper on a present:)

**Added note.... it is fun to use differnet silicone cupcake holders such as flowers or hearts**
